Unimore firmly believe in "learning by doing" approach: for this reason each year supports its motorsport teams:

In the last months MMR, MMR Hybrid and IMR joined Formula Students events and Moto Student Event all over the Europe. For the first time in his long history, MMR took part to three Formula Students events: Formula SAE Italy, Formula Student East and Formula Students Spain. With its incredible prototype, the "M18-L Venom", the new born of the M-L series, with a carbon fiber monocoque and a longitudinal engine, MMR obtained considerable results and won the 1st place of the Acceleration Event in Formula Student East!
Last July MMR Hybrid took part to its first race: Formula Student UK at Silverstone. MMR-H took part to the event in "Class 2" and it demonstrated all its merit in the statics events: Design, Cost and Business Presentation. With its project, focused on the Hybrid powertrain, MMR-H won the 2nd place Class 2 overall!
Finally, last weeks ago also IMR did its first race in Aragon, Spain. IMR students presented their first full electric prototype, thanks to their hard work and dedication, the prototype has successfully completed all the tests and challenges!
