Professional training
Besides the training activities offered as degree programmes, the International Academy for Advanced Technologies in High-Performance Vehicles and Engines also provides for offering advanced training through a number of intensive courses. Their objective is also to offer an excellent training in the automotive field and to meet the demand of the companies involved.
- Professional training courses for Maserati Spa employees regarding composite materials for automotive applications, as well as energy saving and hybrid engines (November 2015-May 2016)
- A 3-month “Executive Course in Automotive design and innovation” organised by the Academy Winter School, dedicated to Chinese students coming from the BEIJING INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (October 2016)
- A 6-month “Boot camp in Cyber Security” course organised by the Academy Winter School
- Organisation and coordination of the “Product Development Training Program Alfa Romeo and Maserati”, dedicated to 50 engineers under 30 years of age, for the duration of 200 hours and dealing with topics relating to aerodynamics, internal combustion engines, electronics and networks, vehicle dynamics, electrical engineering and electric engines, ergonomics and HMI, engine check, vehicle system. All this in collaboration with UNIBO, UNIPR, UNINA Federico II, UNIPI, POLITO and industry experts (January-February 2017)
- At the Enzo Ferrari Department of Engineering, organisation of the MOOC-EduOpen (Massive Open Online Courses) multidisciplinary course entitled “Vehicle Design: from 0 to 100 and from 100 to 0”, held in English and intended for the distance learning of a high number of users.
