Agreement signed between MASA and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute
The agreement opens the way to different forms of collaboration between MASA and CAERI: from the exchange of researchers, doctoral students and master students, as well as the possibility of jointly organizing scientific seminars, events and demonstrations, ranging from autonomous driving to connectivity systems (G5 VS 5G), to ITS solutions, vehicle dynamics and NVH, as well as vehicle safety and cybersecurity testing protocols.
The China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI) is one of the main Chinese research centers dedicated to the development of new technologies for the mobility of the future, which houses one of the four most modern automotive testing facilities in China. CAERI, with the signed agreemment, has confirmed its interest in collaborating with MASA and Unimore to promote joint strategic initiatives.
The MASA Living Lab is the first open-air laboratory for the testing and certification of autonomous and connected driving technologies, coordinated by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in collaboration with the Municipality of Modena and several local companies landed in China.
